Spring 2026 Updates!

A serene landscape with golden grasslands and distant mountains under a dramatic, cloudy sky. Nature's beauty and tranquility.

Dear Community Members and Homeowners,

Thanks for reading on for several updates leading into the summer months!

Community Walk Through

The Board held a landscaping and open space walk through on April 22nd. Several community members and contractors for the District joined the group. Lots of great ideas were shared for ongoing maintenance as well long-term planning and improvements for the Board to consider.

Please join us at our next Board meeting to debrief the walk through, including options presented by the District's landscaping contractor, to address landscaping repairs and drainage issues at the East side of the central walkway in the community, as well as long-range planning for facilities maintenance, repairs, and improvements for many years to come. Currently the next Board meeting is scheduled on June 17th, 2026 at 11:30am! (Date is subject to change.)

Thanks for joining the Community Walk Through!

Reminder for Maintenance and Architectural Review Process

We understand and appreciate the time and effort put into landscaping by many of our neighbors. Please read on for information to help keep our home exteriors and yards in great shape, and to avoid potential violations or notices from the District's Achitectural Control Committee (ACC).

Please keep your front yard, back yard and right-of-way areas tidy, trimmed, mowed, and free of noxious weeds. Please also ensure that trees and shrubs are pruned for health and safety of the plants and community.

If you are planning updates to your home exterior, please remember to complete and submit a Design Review Form! Please plan ahead and remember that this form must be approved by the committee before work begins.

Summer Water Conservation

We recognize that there are watering restrictions this year.  With these conservation measure, please expect more yards to be dormant or less green than usual; this will include the District-maintained areas. Drought can cause stress and loss of plant materials. The District's landscaped and open spaces are subject to the same watering restrictions as homeowners this summer, and we will endeavor to keep areas as beautiful and healthy as possible. The District and its consultants are a resource if you have questions or concerns. We are all in this together!

Please see below for a link to water conservation requirements on the Meadowbrook Water District website.

If you notice any irrigation leaks, stressed plants, or other issues please reach out to us as soon as possible. We appreciate you alerting us.

Please check out resources for maintaining a resilient yard or garden at CSU extension website: https://extension.colostate.edu/topics/garden-lawn-care/
